Our dogs are here when we wake up and when we go to bed. They are loyal and very loving. They don’t have bad days and they cheer us up when we have a bad one. We treat them like they are kids and for good reason. Dogs should be celebrated and loved every day.
Are you obsessed with your dog?
Let me know if you share some these signs below and if you have something to share, please do. It’s all fun here.
Having Human Convo with Your Dog
After a long day if you come home and have a real convo about your day, you might be obsessed. They don’t mind you leaning on their shoulders.
Spoiled Like Children
They may have more than two legs, but that doesn’t stop you from buying them name brand collars, toys, beds, and houses. Did I forget socks:)
You Pay Extra Pet Fees
You go everywhere with your dog and pay all the boarding, travel, housing fees along the way. I stay in a lot of hotels, and I know the fees can be expensive. How about finding a rental and paying their fees for your favorite doggy.
Fine Dining For Your Dog
You actually care about what your dog eats. You make sure they get their vitamins, nutrients, and keep them on top of their game.
Dog Included In Your Family Pictures
If every family portrait in your house includes your dog, you are obsessed (in a good way). Maybe… you even have a professional solo picture of your best friend. I’m not judging.
Your Dog Looks Better Than You
Salons, blow outs, and more? Your dog looks amazing and you don’t care who sees it. Only full service for your dog. They are worth it right.
Did I mention this already? If you have your best doggy pics as a background on your phone, home pc, work pc, and tablet, you may be obsessed. (in the best way:) Maybe you even have a rotating carousel of you and your best friends best times. So cute!
It’s Furry Party Time
Kids have play dates, why not your doggy. Dogs love people and it’s good for them anyway.
Only The Best of The Best
You won’t just let anyone take care of your dog. They must be qualified, maybe a referral or two. The last thing you want to worry about is your dog when you are out traveling or working. Family here just won’t cut it.
You make treats for your dog that look good enough to eat. Have you ever had anyone come over and grab a pet treat and eat it?
Are you always tripping over the squeaky toys, balls, and ropes? Do toys keep piling up after every birthday and holiday? This is a sign of obsession (a good one).
So Much Hair
Do you have lint rollers full of dog hair? What about your socks? I started carrying around lint rollers everywhere I go. Is that you?
You Can’t Sleep
Bet you thought that bed was big enough when you bought it right. Maybe it was, but you now have a dog that can’t sleep without you. It may be cramped but you find yourself not being able to sleep with your dog. Am I right?
You no longer remember what life is like without your pup. And why would you want to? They are there for you waiting at the door, wagging their tails, just waiting to brighten your day.
