Stormy is kind with small children. He is organized and enjoys cats and dogs. Unfortunately, when his family had their fifth child, Stormy was taken to an animal shelter in Brooklyn.
Julie Carer posted on Facebook that Stormy missed his former family terribly and he does not have any information about what was happening to them. Stormy’s mother believed that he should not be around with the new baby even if he behaves well and is playful and loving with the four kids he lived.
Being a Pit Bull staying in a bustling animal facility, his odds of looking a new and permanent home was not right. They were almost impossible. So he was set up to be euthanized in a few moments when he catches the attention of the Eleventh Hour Rescue who saw a post shared by a volunteer about Stormy (formerly named as Freshy).
The moment Alana Guerrini, a foster carer and volunteer in the Eleventh Hour Rescue, noticed her profile on the web, her heart melt. She said that Stormy spent almost all his years in a family who had four kids, together with two dogs and a cat. But, when the mother got pregnant and welcomed the fifth baby, he was considered then to be unimportant.
Guerrini believed that Stormy was unique and raced to rescue his life, as she did with just a few moments to spare. He was scheduled to be euthanized at 5 o’clock, and it was 4:58 when she received a response that Stormy was officially hers and was out of the death row.
So, Guerrini and her kid headed to the shelter to pick up Stormy and bring him home. From the first time Stormy got inside the car, he was happy and loving. He even rested in her son’s lap and did not stop wiggling his tail.
As Guerrini observed Stormy playing with her son, she finds it hard to imagine Stormy’s former family handed him over to a shelter. Since he is safe now, Guerrini decided to find him the best family.
